The Doctoral Programme in Biotechnology results from a cooperation of three departments of the Universidade de Aveiro: Chemistry, Biology and Medical Sciences, through their Research Units: CICECO, CESAM and iBiMED.
The Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, in collaboration with the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB) at IST, devised an interdisciplinary four-year’s Doctoral program (BIOTECnico) that provides PhD students with a world-class training in Biotechnology and Biosciences.
Biotechnology from Catholic University of Portugal aims to prepare a new generation of professionals, capable of promoting R&D activities, both at academic, research, and industry environments.
