Description
The University of Otago Special Health Research Scholarship provides funding to support outstanding doctoral students who are contemplating a career in Health Research.
Benefits
The scholarship is worth NZ $33,624 stipend per annum plus domestic tuition fees waiver (excludes student services fee and insurance).
Eligibility
- Graduates in any discipline intending to undertake research training at PhD level on a topic relevant to human health are eligible to apply.
- The Scholarship is available to domestic and international students. Candidates for professional doctorates, as well as the PhD, are welcome to apply.
Applicants must usually be:
- seeking to obtain their first doctoral qualification
- studying, or planning to study, full-time
- undertaking health related research
