Description

Established in 1992, this scholarship is funded by a generous denotation made by Ivan Colban Roberts in memory of the Reverend and Mrs F W A Roberts.

This scholarship support students undertaking research in the field of English.

Benefits

The scholarship will provide a stipend allowance of $45,000 per annum (primary scholarship) or $10,000 per annum (supplementary scholarship) for one year, subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be enrolled, intending to apply, applied for admission, have a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to study a full-time master's by research or PhD in English
  • undertake research in the field of English
  • hold a Bachelor of Arts with first class honours in English from the University of Sydney
  • be eligible and apply for an RTP Stipend Scholarship
  • receive a primary stipend scholarship from the University of Sydney (for supplementary scholarship).
