Description

The CSU Foundation Persistence Scholarship is provided by the friends of Charles Sturt University, the many service organisations, individuals and corporations throughout our region who give generously via the Charles Sturt University Foundation Trust in support of the University and its students.

Their gifts allow Charles Sturt University to offer more than 200 Foundation scholarships each year to students across the campuses of CSU.

Benefits

The scholarship offers a $20,000 amount, to help you with your studies.

Eligibility

  • 2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th Year or Postgraduate.
  • Any course studied on any campus full time, part time, on campus or online.
  • Applicants must demonstrate in their application how they have shown persistence in the face of adversity to undertake/complete their studies.
  • Demonstrated financial hardship by providing a Centrelink Income Statement or outline your financial need in the 'Additional Financial Information' free text box in application.

Before you submit your application you must have your documentation attached.

This can include; 

Financial documentation such as a Centrelink income statement or your last 3 payslips.

Up to date resume.

An essay, research project proposal or reference letters may be requested.

If your selection criteria involves Local Government Areas (LGA), please supply ONE of the following: electricity bill, phone bill, rates notice, school record.
