Description

In addition to the advantages usually linked to joint thesis supervision (diploma recognized by both countries, de facto registration in the two Algerian and French universities, advantages linked to the possession of a French student card in university libraries, restaurants universities and certain services etc.), the winners will have multiple benefits.

Free visa fees;

Coverage of their round-trip travel costs between Algeria and France;

Health and civil liability insurance coverage during their stay in France

An allowance of 1,500 euros net per month

Eligibility

  • The evaluation of applications will be carried out by an external jury of academics specializing in the fields concerned.
  • Only the following areas are concerned: French teaching ,French and French-speaking literature, language sciences.
  • The scholarship is intended for Algerian students enrolled in a thesis for less than 2 years at an Algerian university.
  • Fluency in the French language is required
  • Candidates who have French nationality (including dual nationals) cannot participate. *This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship or allowance.

The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of an electronic file sent via email between May 1 and June 1 at 7 p.m. (Algiers time).

The application file must include all of the following documents: 1- A CV of two pages maximum; 2- The application form (to download) duly completed, in Excel format; 3- A description of the research project of two pages maximum; 4- A letter of support from the thesis director in Algeria; 5- A letter from a French teacher authorized to supervise research. This letter must be co-signed by the director of the thesis laboratory, attesting to the possibility of welcoming the candidate under co-supervision of the thesis in a French laboratory
