Research projects range from the design of new types of molecular catalysts and the elucidation of fundamental reaction mechanisms to the synthesis of polymers or natural substances with a focus on industrial applications.

The carefully selected teaching programme comprises lectures and block courses on important aspects and methods of catalytic chemistry. Furthermore, the programme also includes a doctoral seminar and conferences in which students present their research results and therefore acquire highly important skills.
