Research

Our core Computer Science research at The University of Manchester is augmented by interdisciplinary research taking place at the interface with discipline areas including mathematics, physics, medicine and biology.

Our research tackles some of society's greatest challenges; from making sense of the data deluge to the security of communications and figuring out how to live alongside intelligent robotic systems.
