Why choose this Library and Information Management (Postgraduate Research) course from University of Wolverhampton?

A majority of the research submitted by the group to the last national evaluation (REF2014) was judged to be “world leading”. The three topics involve quantitative analyses of publication or web data to investigate methods to evaluate research outputs.
As a PhD student, you would meet with your director of studies monthly and attend the monthly Statistical Cybermetrics Research Group doctoral forum in which you will hear about others’ research and update them about your work. You could expect to attend one or two international conferences and publish up to three international journal articles during your studies.
You will also benefit from being part of the Research Institute for Information and Language Processing, giving you access to text processing expertise and a joint seminar series of international invited speakers.
