General requirements

You will need at least a Master of Science degree or equivalent, preferably in the exact sciences. Excellent marks, being highly motivated and a design oriented attitude are vital.

Doing a EngD at TU Delft requires English proficiency at a certain level to ensure that the candidate is able to communicate and interact well, participate in English-taught courses, and write reports and a final thesis in English. As per 1 January 2022, TU Delft requires candidates for a EngD position to provide TOEFL or IELTS scores as part of the selection procedure.
