The Centre for Doctoral Training in Environmental Intelligence: Data Science and AI for Sustainable Futures provides PhD students at The University of Exeter with an interdisciplinary training environment to equip them with the core skills required for a new generation of interdisciplinary EI practitioners.

- Training is provided in data science and statistics; and the ethics, governance, and responsible innovation principles related to the use of big data and AI. Students also introduced to a range of environmental challenges.
- The 4-year training programme is designed to empower students to explore different research domains and methods, before developing their own PhD research plan and assembling a multidisciplinary supervisory team.
