Overview
Supervision is arranged to suit your DPhil topic and usually involves staff attached to the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine. It may also involve other staff from within the Medical Sciences Division as well as co-supervision with members of the Evidence-Based network.

General requirements
As a minimum, applicants should hold or be predicted to achieve the equivalent of the following UK qualifications:
- the MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care, or equivalent qualification, with an average of at least 65% across all components of the MSc; and
- a first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours in a relevant subject.
However, entrance is very competitive and most successful applicants have a first-class degree or the equivalent. For applicants with a degree from the USA, the minimum GPA normally sought is 3.6 out of 4.0.
