Biology and Ecology University of Hradec Králové

Overview

Within the PhD of Biology and Ecology at the University of Hradec Králové students of this program have three compulsory courses - Collection and Evaluation of Biological Data, Creation of Publications and Professional English Language, and they can also choose three courses from 12 specialized courses, or they can complete a course corresponding to their specialization at another university in the Czech Republic and abroad.

In addition, they are obliged to teach at the Department of Biology (undergraduate and follow-up master's degree programs, in particular exercises), a foreign internship, a presentation at a seminar or student scientific conference, and of course scientific activities. The study is completed by a doctoral exam in the specialization of the student and the defense of the doctoral thesis.
