Our Doctoral School offers training based on the University’s tradition of engaging in applied sciences. This approach will benefit not only those interested in an academic career but also those who are closely involved in economic practice, including those with an MBA degree. Our Doctoral School is open to both recent master’s degree graduates and more experienced applicants with practical experience.

The high-level theoretical training offered by our Doctoral School focuses on research methodology. The structure of our Doctoral School’s programme is based on this theoretical and methodological foundation in line with the requirements of entrepreneurial and business studies.

The curriculum and quality assurance of Entrepreneurship and Business at Budapest University of Economics and Business (BUEB) have been designed to enable and encourage our doctoral students to obtain their doctoral degrees in the shortest possible period of time (4+ years).
