About the programme
Clinical Dentistry is a 4-Year PhD programme at The University of Manchester that allows you to combine clinical experience in any one of a number of dental specialties with vigorous research training.
You will select a research project and supervisor in the normal manner and then indicate that you wish to undertake the four-year programme. A clinical supervisor will also be assigned to you appropriate to your chosen clinical specialty.

- We require applicants to hold, or be about to obtain, an Upper Second class Honours degree, or the equivalent qualification gained outside the UK, in a related subject area for entry to a PhD programme.
- A Lower Second class Honours degree may be considered if applicants also hold a Master's degree with a Merit classification.
