General requirements

A graduate Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline that is recognised by the Senate of UTB. OR

An Upper Second-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Civil Engineering or a related discipline that is recognised by the Senate of UTB. AND

At least a credit or equivalent in English Language GCE O-level or a valid IELTS score of at least 6.0 or a valid overall TOEFL score of at least 550, or their equivalent. The IELTS or TOEFL must be taken within 2 years of the start date of the programme. AND

Submit a satisfactory research proposal as determined by the postgraduate admission committee of the programme area. Candidates need to contact the appropriate supervisor to work on and agree on the satisfactory research proposal. Click here to find the research area and the associated supervisor. Applications without a satisfactory proposal will be rejected straightaway.
