Programme Structure

Curriculum:

The programme comprises the following: An oral doctoral examination (the equivalent of two modules each consisting of four papers), which must be taken before the thesis is submitted.
The study programme for the examination must be arranged with the supervisor and approved by Senate. It consists of a major theme and two sub-themes.
A thesis that makes a contribution to the state of knowledge in the field of Historical Studies and an article ready for publication in an accredited journal are required.
