Overview
The objective of this Electrical Engineering programme at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is to educate excellent, independent researchers who are able to contribute to the sustainable development of society. More specifically the program intends to prepare students for highly-qualified, professional research careers in one of the specialized areas of electrical engineering.

The general entry requirements at KTH are met by those who:
- have been awarded a second-cycle qualification, or
- have satisfied the requirements for courses comprising at least 240 credits of which at least 60 credits were awarded in the second-cycle or
- otherwise acquired largely equivalent knowledge.
