Packaging refers to a method of delivering goods to an end user in a safe and efficient manner, but also to a design that minimises spills and is functional for the end user.

Other important aspects of packaging are the possibilities of reuse or recycling and/or disposal of the packaging material at minimal cost and in compliance with current rules and knowledge of minimal environmental impact.
