- Embedded in the Faculty’s research groups, PhD projects are carried out under the personal supervision of two staff members.
- The Graduate School of Archaeology at Leiden University is responsible for the overall coordination and monitoring of the PhD track, including the admission procedures, supervision and PhD (skills) training program.
Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- Annual Progress Evaluation with supervisors and update of TSP
- Progress review meeting (with Graduate School Annual review team)
- Conducting research and writing of the dissertation
- Taking training courses (for both academic and transferable skills) at one of the National Research Schools or your institute, as well as courses offered as part of the University Teaching Program for PhDs.
