General requirements
To be admitted to the Ph.D. program, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- A minimum average of B+ (75%), or equivalent, calculated in accordance with graduate studies guidelines.
- A master's degree with thesis, or equivalent. Students who have not completed a thesis must provide evidence of their ability to do research at the doctoral level by providing a sample of written work such as a memoir, research report, scholarly publication, or qualifying research paper. (If the applicant does not have any of these documents, he or she may be invited to complete an interim report.)
- Courses recognized by the Admissions Committee as courses in education (or in health education, or in health if applying for the concentration in Health Professions Education).
