MA in Philosophy from an accredited university, although students whose specialization is not Philosophy may be admitted

Minimum 70% average in their graduate studies, as determined by the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies

Applicants whose first language is not English must furnish evidence of their proficiency in the use of the English language (School of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies - Admissions Requirements). Our program does not waive this requirement; however, applicants may request that SGPS assess their eligibility of an exemption and we will accept their decision.

Students applying to the five year direct entry PhD program must meet all MA program admission requirements.
