Objectives of the project

The thesis is by nature exceptional training for research. This does not necessarily have to lead to an academic career but must highlight the PhD student’s ability to demonstrate a spirit of analysis and creativity at the highest level.

Like any doctoral school, the objectives of the Mathematics, Computer Science, Theoretical Physics and Systems Engineering school at the University of Orleans are to:

develop a support system for the production of high quality theses based on rules promoting excellence in the allocation of funding to laboratories and doctoral students and in thesis support
develop a training system that promotes the doctoral student's research project and professional integration project.
