Consumers, Cultures and Societies :
- Consumers Cultures and Societies research explores the ethical (or unethical) aspects of everyday consumer behaviour, consumer responses to corporate social responsibility and the formation of consumer communities, tribes and subcultures in specific consumption contexts.
- Retailing research examines the impacts of structural and behavioural change on market structures and behaviours.
- This includes retail internationalisation; retail ‘spaces’ and communities; and supply chain relationship power dynamics.

General entry requirements for our research degree programmes are:
- An upper second class honours Bachelors degree or higher qualification. For some studentships and programmes of study a suitable masters degree may be specified.
- If your first language is not English you’re required to show English language competency equivalent to the minimum level of IELTS 6.5 (6.0 in all bands).
