About the program

The IHRS Biophysics and Soft Matter was established at Forschungszentrum Jülich and is run in collaboration with University of Cologne, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, RWTH Aachen University, and the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology of Behavior – caesar Bonn.

The aim of our complementary research training is to offer a curriculum at the interfaces between neuroscience, physics, chemistry, and biology.

Applicants should hold a master's degree in neuroscience, physics, chemistry, biology or related subjects.
Please submit the completed application form, your CV, scans of the MSc and BSc transcripts and certificates, and the TOEFL Examinee's Score Record (if available).
You may already apply now even if you have not yet completed your Master studies. In this case, please submit a list of courses including marks for courses that you have attended to date.
