General requirements

A master’s degree from UM or equivalent from any other university, as acknowledged and approved by the Senate.

Exceptional University Malaya graduates may directly apply for entry into the University’s relevant doctoral programs. Candidates with a CGPA standing of 3.7 and above will be offered entry into the program and will also be given due consideration for the University Malaya’s scholarship funding, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
