About the program

The Phytosanitary Technology program from Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University (KATRU) will help you:

Knows how to develop technology and conduct real-time monitoring, including the creation of regional on-line support and decision-making systems for agricultural producers.
Knows how to develop technology and conduct real-time monitoring, including the creation of regional on-line support and decision-making systems for agricultural producers.
Has professional knowledge in the field of protection of ornamental crops and floriculture of open and closed soils, integrated methods of protection of ornamental crops from pests and diseases.
Knows the methods of scientific research and the specifics of their use in solving problems in agricultural production, is aware of current trends in the development of agricultural science, the essence and principles of scientific research. Uses methods of planning and techniques of conducting field experience, the main stages of research work.
Possesses modern methods of phytosanitary monitoring and diagnostics of agroecosystems according to the periods of formation of elements of the crop structure. Principles of complementarity in the development of phytosanitary systems and technologies for plant protection from harmful organisms.
