Overview
The focus of this this Development of a Low-Cost Autonomous Device for Colorectal Cancer Screening and Treatment project at University of Dundee is the development of a low-cost device for the screening and treatment of colorectal cancer, which is currently the third most common cause of death worldwide. Our aim is to revolutionize the screening process by creating an autonomous device capable of conducting a comprehensive inspection of the large bowel and performing surgical tasks.
Student focus
To achieve this ambitious objective, the student will primarily concentrate on developing control strategies, including visual servoing, to improve the stability and precision of the device.
