Overview
This Computational Biology programme from University of Nottingham spans across species, improving the health and welfare of animals. From reducing lameness in sheep using technology, understanding cancer, cardiovascular and degenerative diseases, to how viruses and bacteria work, so we can better understand and treat them.
The expertise are made up of research groups and specialist research centres, including:
- One Virology
- Translational Infection Biology
- Diagnostics and Therapeutics
- Ruminant Population Health
- Antimicrobial Resistance
- Veterinary Education and Professionalism
- Advanced Data Analysis Centre (ADAC)
- Centre for Dairy Science Innovation (CDSI)
- Centre for Evidenced Based Veterinary Medicine (CEVM)
