Key Facts

The Architecture programme from TED University will be designed in relation to the research topics and projects of TEDU Department of Architecture and will aim to create a common research culture with the Master's Programme. Design and Research Studios, which are compulsory courses in the Master's Programme, are designed with the goal of 'Research through Design' and offer a learning environment based on intellectual, methodological and critical processes in which research and practice are integrated within the field of architectural designand it is aimed to continue this approach in the PhD Programme.

General requirements

Students who have an undergraduate degree in Architecture (with a 4-year education) and/or a master's programme with thesis in the academic fields of Architecture (Architectural Design, Architectural History, Building, etc.) are accepted to the Ph.D. programme.

The programme language is English. In order to start the programme, it is necessary to meet the English language proficiency requirements of TED University English Language School. (A minimum score of 70 on the TEDU language exam EPE or an equivalent national or international exam score accepted by the Council of Higher Education)
