You will acquire skills and competencies from leading economists and at the same time develop your own research programme. After successful completion of the The Economics research programme Bratislava University of Economics and Business, you will find prestige positions in academia, in international environment, in executive positions in the public sector, or in the private sector.
Key Facts
The university's extensive international ties allow students to attend courses taught by experts from leading universities around the world (such as University of Vienna and WU Wien, University of Coimbra, CERGE-EI, Chapman University) in addition to internationally recognized domestic university teachers.
Students devote themselves independently to the original research programme, which is closely supervised and led by faculty members. In this regard, they cooperate mainly with their supervisor.
Programme Structure
- The study programme is taught in English. It prepares graduates who are competitive in the international labour market. It reflects the fact that economic research at the European level is conducted in English.
- It contributes to the internationalization and openness of education at the EUBA Faculty of Economics and Finance It takes place through international cooperation with partner institutions, active involvement of foreign professors and lecturers in teaching and research activities and seminars of doctoral students.

Funding
Talented students with excellent academic performance are eligible for EUBA’s merit scholarship. Merit scholarship is possible to be received only after the first year of study is completed at the EUBA and only best students are awarded. Students do not have to apply for this scholarship, best students will be contacted automatically by the study department of the respective faculty.
