Overview

Within the Biomedical Engineering programme from The Technical University of Kosice (TUKE) the knowledge of biomedical engineering is also reflected, in which students acquire knowledge in the field of sensors of electrical and non-electrical quantities, programming of processors, design and functionality of medical devices and their physical principles. At the same time, they will acquire knowledge of natural and medical sciences.

Learning Objectives

The qualification of the third degree of university studies in the study programme Biomedical Engineering is awarded to students who:

possess highly professional competencies in the biomedical engineering study program

learn systematically approach solving problems arising from medical and biomedical practice

develop a creative scientific approach in the search for optimal solutions through critical thinking and the creation of new and complex concepts

develop the ability to communicate their opinions and knowledge in the space of the lay and professional public

and they are also gain experience in presenting the results of their scientific outputs and pedagogical knowledge.
