Established in 2002, this innovative higher education project has been conceived, crafted and implemented by Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, HBMSU Chancellor, as a passionate response to the hopes and aspirations of the new Arab generation, with a focus on smart learning as the future of education and empowerment in the region.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University’s Lifelong Learning Model is designed to provide many forms and opportunities of education and learning experiences that combine both academic and non-academic programs and courses.

By focusing on the importance of the learner’s ‘lifelong learning needs’, HBMSU offers all of its professional programs through certification routes to progress through a career path in multiple sectors including quality and business management, banking, healthcare, environment, smart learning, and e-education.
