Jesselton University College

Established in 1988 under Sabah’s Education Ordinance, 1961 (Ordinance No. 9 of 1961), and re-registered as Institut Prima Bestari when the Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 was enacted. 

• The institution has demonstrated an outstanding and proven track record, including achieving a 5-star rating from the Ministry of Higher Education for consecutive years. In recognition of its commitment and quality in higher education, the Ministry of Higher Education granted University College status to the institution in 2021.
• With its roots deeply planted in the land of Sabah, Jesselton University College is extending its reach further onto the global horizon, seeking recognition and accreditations on a global scale.
