History
Founded in 1984 on the initiative of the Koblenz Chamber of Commerce and Industry, WHU has become a model for future-oriented research and teaching in business economics.
Education

Next to the Bachelor and Master programs, WHU offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and Online MBA programs, an Executive MBA program and Executive Education. Library services
The WHU library offers an excellent research infrastructure to academics and students of WHU on a 24/7 basis. A self-service terminal allows to check out books at any time via the WHU-card. By using the 'book return box' books can be returned to the library even outside the business hours.

- Vallendar is located in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. With its castles, historic towns, and towering vineyards, this section has been awarded UNESCO world heritage site status. Major cities are dotted along the banks, and Koblenz marks the meeting of the rivers Rhine and Moselle. Perfectly placed, Vallendar and its surrounding area offer plenty to see and do.
