History

Over the past two decades, RISEBA University of Applied Sciences has undergone a significant transformation - from a small, ambitious business school into a multidisciplinary university. Today, RISEBA offers programmes not only in business and management, but also in communications, audiovisual media arts and architecture, positioning itself as the place where business meets arts.

Education

RISEBA offers study programmes across three faculties:

Faculty of Business and Economics, providing Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programmes in business, management and economics.
Faculty of Media and Creative Technologies, offering Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programmes in media arts, audiovisual arts, creative technologies and communications.
Faculty of Architecture and Design, offering Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Architecture.

Research

RISEBA is a research-oriented university committed to excellence in both research and education. Over the past two decades, research activities at RISEBA have grown substantially, reaching a high level of diversity and international engagement. Research spans social and economic sciences, entrepreneurship, communications, media arts and architecture, combining in-depth specialisation with interdisciplinary and innovative approaches.

Career

The Career Development Centre at RISEBA supports students and professionals through a wide range of activities and services. These include courses, seminars and conferences, as well as consulting services, marketing research, analytical support, brainstorming and innovation sessions carried out in collaboration with senior students and academic staff.

RISEBA also offers support in organising seminars, conferences and public events, providing professionally equipped meeting and conference facilities in the centre of Riga. In addition, the university can establish or manage corporate education centres and deliver tailored staff evaluation and training programmes.
