History
Founded in 1912, 36 years before the State of Israel, Technion has been in central for the past century of progress responding to national and global needs. Technion was created to establish a generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and technological giants. For over 100 years, Technion has grown rapidly, becoming a global pioneer in fields such as biotechnology, stem cells and space.
Education
Technion’s programs in engineering and science are designed to give international students a unique academic experience, in a vibrant scientific and entrepreneurial environment of the “Start-Up” nation. Technion offers two full undergraduate degree programs in English:
- BSc. in Mechanical Engineering, which provides the foundational engineering infrastructure for all modern industry.
- BSc. in Civil Engineering - Civil Engineers are creators, problem-solvers, and pioneers.
- Summer programs: Technion invites tech-minded students from around the world for an unforgettable summer experience.
- Technion’s Semester Study Abroad program in Engineering and Science is a chance to get to know Israel, the “Start-Up Nation.”
