The Faculty of Humanities in Koper is a small and pleasant faculty. The professors know each student individually and adapt to the students' needs. Most courses are designed to be practically applicable. I am studying English-Slovenian translation, and I am particulary satisfied with the Slovenian part of the course. Another good thing about the faculty is that you can choose one or two other foreign languages in addition to the basic programme you are studying.
Informatics at University of Łódź-Modern Approach
The Computer Science program at the University of Łódź offers a solid and up-to-date curriculum that balances theory with practical skills. Lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, and students have access to modern laboratories and engaging projects. The university fosters a collaborative atmosphere, helping students to connect and learn from each other. One drawback, however, is that some administrative processes can be slow and occasionally confusing. Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone looking to build a strong foundation in computer science.
Frustrating Experience and Poor Facilities
My experience at the University of Benin has been quite challenging and, unfortunately, largely disappointing. While the institution holds a strong reputation for academic rigor, the daily reality of being a student here is defined by a constant struggle with inadequate infrastructure and an unconducive learning environment. The lecture halls are frequently overcrowded and poorly ventilated, which makes it incredibly difficult to stay focused during classes. Beyond the classroom, the lack of consistent basic utilities such as water and electricity in the living areas adds significant stress to an already demanding academic schedule. Simple administrative processes often feel unnecessarily complicated and manual, leading to a lot of frustration for the student body. I believe that for the university to truly live up to its potential, there needs to be a serious commitment to modernizing the facilities and prioritizing student welfare. While I have gained resilience from being here, the physical and administrative hurdles have made my study experience far more difficult than it needed to be.
