Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School Suzhou (JGS), approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education in 2012, is now the 1st and only Sino-foreign cooperative institution in China to offer world-competitive English instructed graduate programs.

Research
MSRI is an overseas research institute established by Monash University with the support of Suzhou Industrial Park Government. It is under direct administration of Monash University. As a non-profit private organization, MSRI, with the support of world-class international talents and research teams of Monash University, aims to bolster the operation of JGS, to strengthen Monash’s cooperation with Southeast University and other Chinese universities, research institutes, and industrial partners, as well as Chinese governments at all levels, and to carry out the world's leading innovative research in the field of engineering and technology and the training of international innovative talents.

Volunteering is the ideal way to gain valuable, career-enhancing skills, build confidence and develop professional networks.
Student clubs
Monash Suzhou has rolled out an exciting lineup of activities, including the Student Survival Workshop, the Career Development Workshop, a Coffee Catch-Up event, and an Aussie Movie Night. The first "Coffee Catch Up" event successfully allowed the students to exchange diverse cultural perspectives, from coffee brewing techniques to traditional tea rituals such as Chinese Longjing, Indian Masala Chai, and Japanese Matcha. The activity fostered interdisciplinary dialog and turned into a mini-cultural exchange. Additionally, an Aussie Cinema Night was held where students enjoyed the iconic 1980s film Crocodile Dundee, providing fun and entertaining immersion in Australian culture.
