Process Control from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava graduate is a specialist in the field of mass and heat transfer processes, chemical reactions, and control of biotechnological processes.

The graduate can design control, automation, and information systems on the basis of analysis of processes and technologies in the process industries. He can assess links between technological processes and control systems. He knows how to design technology solutions in the process industry. He is able to work effectively in science and research.

He is prepared for individual and unique challenges in the field of automation and control in the process industries. Graduate masters advanced control methods, automatic control theory, intelligent control methods, optimization, design principles and methods of automated and automatic systems, and information security.

The graduate understands technical language, can interpret scientific documents, communicates at least in one major world language. They lead a team, argue, and present their results.

Careers

Graduates can continue at postdoctoral level at universities, research institutions, or R&D departments of companies not only in chemical, biochemical, or food industries. Graduates are prepared for independent creative scientific research activities. They are able to design, deploy, operate, maintain hardware and software of the automated control systems and their components, to make development and scientific research in this area.
